The Dells/Lake Delton area is gearing up for what should be a good Spring and Summer season. A good sign of the economy recovering is our second home market sales are up the last quarter of 20l0 by 27%, with average sales prices of condos now at $l85,000. Home sales are up in average price from $l45,000 to $l55,000 with a steady amount of new listings. The National Association of Realtors reports an increase in sales of l2.9% over the last month. The Dells First Weber office ended 20l0 up l3% in sales from the last quarter of 2009/20l0 to 20l0/20ll ! Another good sign of recovery.
The Wisconsin Dells starts off the outdoor season with Riverfest on April 16. There’s a large annual "Auto Show" in May that brings a lot of visitors and then we will kick off the season Memorial Weekend! But don’t wait…now is the time to purchase that home or vacation home before we see interest rates rise.
