Wisconsin Photo Friday from First Weber Group: Spring thaw at Devil’s Lake

March 25, 2011

Spring thaw at Devil's Lake State Park, WI, 2002

Spring thaw at Devil’s Lake State Park in Baraboo, Wisconsin.

Devil’s Lake is often referred to as the Yellowstone of the Midwest. It is Wisconsin’s most popular state park and can get pretty crowded in the summer.  Have you been there to hike or camp? What was your favorite part? Here is the Devil’s Lake website which includes some more great pictures and information on their hiking trails.  Some sound pretty strenuous if a .3 mile trail is estimated to take 2 hours!

Thanks for reading the First Weber Group Wisconsin real estate & Wisconsin living blog for Wisconsin photo Friday.
