South Central Wisconsin real estate update: more sales, less inventory

Wisconsin real estate sales activity is up in 2012 with increased sales across the eight county South Central MLS region as well as increased home showings.  It remains a very attractive time to buy a home – low rates and a lower median home sales price mean real long term affordability.   We remain optimistic about a  promising 2012 for Wisconsin real estate sales.  Take a look at the opportunities to buy real estate all across Wisconsin at firstweber.com. Besides and uptick in sales, another statistic to watch is the inventory of homes for sale in Wisconsin which is down across all counties, more noticeably in Columbia, Dane, Dodge and Sauk. This will continue to create a more balanced market in terms of supply and demand. For information on your specific county, please contact your First Weber real estate agent or contact First Weber.
