First Weber Foundation supports Hurricane Sandy relief and more. Thank you for your contributions!

 

First Weber raised money for Hurricane Sandy relief  and 2 other charities recently, with The First Weber Foundation also contributing.

 

Hurricane Sandy

$5000 match from the Foundation. Over $10,000 raised

All across Wisconsin, First Weber raised $5570 for Hurricane Sandy relief. The First Weber Foundation added $5000 to for a grand total of $10,570 being sent to AmeriCares for the East Coast devastation.  It is hard to imagine a cause that needs more support when you see pictures of the damage they are still trying to clean up.  Thank you so much for supporting this special fundraiser!

 

Friends of Abused Families: $1,000 match

The West Bend Office of First Weber recently held a fundraiser for Friends of Abused Families which they raised $1000. The Foundation doubled their money and sent a check for $2000 to that organization. Nice job, West Bend!

 

Educate to Elevate: $2500 sponsorship

The First Weber Foundation Board of Directors has approved a $2500 sponsorship of the Educate to Elevate event on December 6-7th held by the Urban League of Greater Madison.

 

Where does The First Weber Foundation get funding?

The First Weber Foundation is funded by contributions from First Weber agents, owners and employees.  Monies go to support Wisconsin charities.  The Hurricane Sandy relief effort was a special fundraiser for those out East.
