First Weber Foundation supports Metavivor through the Mary Wilson Gooze campaign to raise awareness of Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer.
Mary Gooze, who has late stage breast cancer, is raising money and awareness by swimming across as many lakes as possible. Mary swam Hasbrook Lake and Two Sisters Lake up north in Wisconsin and will also swim Duck Lake (UP) for a total of nearly 5 miles. In just a weekend between old friends and new friends and a First Weber Foundation match, she raised over $5000! Bob Weber presented her with a check from the First Weber Foundation made out to Metavivor, an organization that supports and is named for metastatic breast cancer survivors.
