Strong fall real estate market continues in Metro Milwaukee area: Sales up 4.6% over last October, 11.7% year-to-date

Rising Sales

Metro Milwaukee area home sales in September are up 4.6 over last year at this time. This marks the ninth month of positive sales this year.  1555 homes were sold last month compared to 1487 last October.

From GMAR release:

“The market is running smoothly but not overheating. Buyers are active this fall, many homes in move in condition are receiving multiple offers, inventory is very tight and there is some upward price pressure.”

We are enjoying a busy fall, where sales typically start to slow down. Because of the limited inventory situations seen in many local markets, buyers need to be in contact with their agent and be ready to move forward quickly when they find “the one.”
