Strongest winter for Wisconsin home sales in more than 10 years

Wisconsin’s hot real estate market continues into February with home sales up statewide by 4.1% over February 2015 and 3666 properties sold.

Median home prices are up 6.8% compared with last February. Median sale price for a home in Wisconsin is now $146,800.

February sales were up in all regions of the state varying from 1.8-3.6% except the Northwoods which saw a huge increase of 16.8%, most likely due to the mild winter. It points to a potentially very strong upswing in the second home market for which the Northwoods is known for.
