Metro Milwaukee home sales up 5% in March. Trend of strong sales continues.

The real estate market remains busy, sales slowing a bit because of a lack of inventory. However, all counties have recently seen an increase in inventory of homes for sale- anywhere from a .4% increase in new listings (Waukesha County) to an increase of 10% (Washington County).

“Market conditions are ripe for a strong spring and summer market. Job security and prospects look good, and interest rates continue to hover around historic lows. The biggest cloud on the horizon is the supply of homes, both existing and new construction. ” (source Metro MLS)
