Home improvement projects... some people love them, and some hate them. More often than not, home improvement project does just that - improve the home. (if done well!)

I'll start... We filled in an inground swimming pool. Might seem odd to many people. Some people view a pool as a plus and some view it as a detriment. And things change over time too. It was time for the pool to go. Now we have a yard. Much more to my liking!

Several newspapers are reporting flooding could be possible because the ground is already saturated and the frost line aprox 20 inches below the surface has not melted yet. See full article at the Wisconsin State Journal here.

The DNA has new floodplain maps available here. According to the Wisconsin REALTORS Association the new maps could have an impact on flood insurance, affect property value and present challenges to agents and sellers of real estate. Better do a search of your county here at the Wisconsin DNR site
