Comments (0) Trackbacks (0) What a resource! Wisconsin home buyers, take note.Wisconsinhomebuyer.org is a website developed by the Wisconsin REALTORS Association. A good read for anyone looking to buy a home in Wisconsin. Check it out! Information on the first time home buyer tax credit is available - up to $8,000 - and it does NOT have to be repaid. The credit expires December 1, 2009. Better get moving to take advantage of it. Contact any First Weber agent to get started. We have plenty of buyer agents who can give you good representation. Comments (0) Trackbacks (0) Do the Math! Good time to move up.This makes total sense. Glad to see msn.com covering this opportunity: Yes, you may sell for less today but you sure can buy more for less today too! Perfect time for move up buyers. I'm happy to say I have good friends doing exactly that. They sold their home with First Weber Group yesterday. They are soon closing on their beautiful "move up" home they may not have been able to afford before, also purchased through First Weber. Their tranasctions were not easy in any way--many unusual situations and roadblocks. But it all came together and they will be in a really good place the next time it comes to sell. Congrats!! What are your thoughts about moving up? Do you have a story to share? Thursday, April 16. 2009

Comments (0) Trackbacks (0) Looking for first time home buyers in WisconsinWe're looking for stories from first time home buyers in Wisconsin. Are you in the process of searching now or still just looking? Did you close already and if so, what did you think of the process? How could First Weber improve the process for you? Did the tax credit have a part in deciding that now was the time to buy? Way back when when I bought my first home, there was no tax credit and it was a seller's market. I can still remember some of the places I looked at and did not buy - and it has been almost 20 years! House hunting, especially for the first time. is an exciting thing. There was a LOT of paperwork. I trusted the REALTOR and Loan officer I was working with though, and that made a difference to me. We have many REALTORS who specialize in first time home buyers if you are looking for someone to help you get started. We'd love to hear from anyone who can recall buying their first house! Surely there are some good stories out there... Continue reading "Looking for first time home buyers in Wisconsin"Monday, April 13. 2009

Comments (0) Trackbacks (0) Try First Weber's new Smart sign text code - eData (33282)Have you tried texting a pin number on the First Weber yard sign to our dedicated short code eData ? We are excited to offer this new level of service to home buyers and want to know what you think! As far as we know, we are one of the few, if not the first in Wisconsin to offer such a service to meet the increasing popularity of texting by providing a dedicated short code. What kind of cell phone do you have? If you have a smart phone with internet access, you can text XXXXX (example purposes only) to edata. Some phones you have to use the alt key to to do this.
On standard cell phones with a 10 key pad, the numbers that correspond to edata are 33282. You would need to text the pin code XXXXX to 33282.
Let us know what kind of phone you have, if you have tried the new First Weber Front Runner smart sign program and what you think! If you have any comments or suggestions, we love to hear them.
