The best affordable suburb in the country is our own city of Pewaukee, according to Business Week’s annual ranking. Low crime, great schools, short commutes and affordability were all factors in the study. Pewaukee also does well with a lakeside location, proximity to Milwaukee and several large employers including Aurora Heath Care and GE Medical.
The village of Pewaukee came in just below the city in the rankings.
