Source Metro MLS

The median sale price in Washington County ended at $175,000 in July after a few ups and downs through the year.  Year to date, the median sale price for Washington County is up 1.5%. There were 77 closed sales this July versus 136 last July. Year to date though, closed sales in Washington County are up 4.5%.  Average days on market this year is 92, down from 113 last year in July.  That’s a good thing.

July was a tough month for real estate as sales declined almost everywhere due to many closings in April May and June as people bought and closed in time to get the now gone tax credit. (The deadline to close had been extended)
