Racine County real estate market update

Real estate in Racine County saw some declines in July, as other counties have experienced.  In July 2009, there were 158 properties sold in July. This year in July, 105 sold.  The average days on market in July this year (97) is down from last year (119). That’s a good decline.

In terms of median sale price, the chart below shows the flow of Racine County median sale prices compared to last year by month.

Year to date in the Racine County real estate market new listings are up almost 10%, closed sales are up over 8%. The median sale price is down around 8% and the days on market slightly down.  Source Metro MLS.
