August was a strong month for Northwoods Wisconsin real estate. Residential units sold rebounded from July’s 110 sales to 137 in August. That’s the second highest number of sales in a month so far this year in the Northwoods, WI MLS.
The average price per square foot of homes sold in August shot up to $139/ft, the highest it has been all year. Median sale price is also up to $152,000 in August as the chart below illustrates.
There were more $300,000+ home sales in August than there have been in any other month in 2010, including 2 sold for $900,000+ . Source of data Northwoods Association of REALTORS
