Waukesha County real estate update from First Weber Group

Real estate sales in Waukesha County during August 2010 are down from last year at this time: 274 homes sold in August 2010 compared to 376.  This is no surprise – the home buyer tax credit was in full swing last August.  Year to date, sales are up 0.2%. By the end of the year that may fall slightly into negative territory. Still, thousands of homes will sell.  To ensure yours is one of them, make your price compelling and your property shine.

Waukesha County median prices are holding up well as shown below. The August median price was $257,000.  Year to date median price is $237,000.  That’s ahead of last year’s median price by 3%  Source Metro MLS
