If you haven’t been to downtown Waukesha lately, you should spend some time there.  There are numerous new restaurants and many art galleries to check out.  And this weekend, the holiday festivities begin with the annual parade.  It’s a good one. Come by a little early to scope out a spot and check out some of the new shops Downtown Waukesha has added in the last few years.

History buffs and non-history buffs alike will enjoy the Veteran’s Concert American Romantics and a  Movie Screening called Iron Jawed Angels.  You can even meet Eleanor Roosevelt.

48th Annual Waukesha Christmas ParadeSunday, November 21, 4 pm

Start making plans to attend the 48th Annual Waukesha Christmas Parade on Sunday, November 21 brought to you by the BloodCenter of Wisconsin.  This year’s theme is “Twinkle, Sparkle and Shine” and each unit will be lit for the enjoyment of parade-goers.  Wonderful units include marching bands, classic cars, and floats by community organizations and businesses.   

 

Come early for the Holiday Stroll from noon until 4 pm where the shops will be decked out in their holiday finest.  

 

How about seeing this parade in grand style perched above the crowds?  The Clarke Hotel has a limited number of rooms available at a special rate for parade day.  Book early and enjoy the parade from a new perspective!
