Where do buyers begin their real estate search?

Certainly not with the newspaper! The KCM crew goes into detail about how things have changed with real estate advertising, and some of our sellers may be very aware since the migration from real estate being advertised in the newspaper has been happening for years.  First Weber Group devotes a lot of time, money and energy to marketing our listings online and the numbers support that stance.

According to the National Association of Realtors 2010 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, less than 2% started their home search by looking at newspapers, magazines or home buying guides.   36% of buyers looked online for properties for sale as their very first step.  (Overall, 89% USED the internet in their home search, 36% began there.)
