Sure Summerfest is held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. But it is not just for Milwaukeeans by any means!
People come from all over Wisconsin and up from the Chicago area to visit Summerfest: the World’s largest music festival right on the shores of Lake Michigan. Truly a world class event: 11 days, 11 stages and over 700 bands – not to mention more kinds of food than you could imagine. It is held June 29-July 3 and July 5-July 10 at the Henry Maier Festival Park on the lake next to Lakeshore State Park. A fabulous location worth visiting for the views alone. Sit on the rocks to catch some shade & lake breeze and have a bite or a drink as you do a little people-watching. You’ll see all kinds at Summerfest.
Some of the FREE music performances at the 11 stages include:
Meatloaf, Better than Ezra, Cory Chisel and the Wandering Sons, REO Speedwagon, Los Lobos, Three Eye Blind, Styx, Fuel, Morris Day and the Time. Milwaukee’s own Idol: Danny Gokey, Goo Goo Dolls, The Guffs, the BoDeans and the Love Monkeys. The cost of all these great performances is included in your admission ticket.
Tickets may be purchased for special headlining performances at the Marcus Amphitheater. Check out the acts that are performing this year at Milwaukee’s Summerfest:
Peter Gabriel, Kayne West, Toby Keith, Jason Mraz, Kid Rock & Sheryl Crow, Def Leppard & Heart, The Black Keys, Katie Perry, Jason Aldean, Britney Spears and Sugarland. No wonder people come from all over to attend Summerfest. What a collection of artists… right here at Milwaukee’s Summerfest!

Ultimate Confection’s Candy, Usigner’s Wurst Garden? Miller Beer? Leinie’s Beer? All of the above? Please let us know.
