Location, Location, Location : point of interest search

Location, Location, Location

Everyone has heard the term “Location, Location, Location” used when describing what is very important to consider when buying a home. Location is the one thing you cannot change about the house you buy – so it should be carefully considered.

One way to evaluate the location is to drive the neighborhood. But in today’s internet society, many homes are evaluated online. So how do find out about the location of the house? A drive through the neighborhood is still the best way to check it out. However, much information can be found about the house’s surrounding area by using First Weber’s Point of Interest search.

How does it work?

When you search for homes for sale using firstweber.com, you’ll use a map or define your criteria by filling in fields.

A list or map of matching properties come up with a thumbnail photo.

Clicking into the thumbnail photo gives you full information about that house – room sizes, pictures and more.  The home will also be shown on a map of the area like this:

<<<<<<<<

But what’s in that area? What is important for you to be near?  Click into the map as shown above select your distance on the left of the pop up window and your interests on the right.  You’ll see what is around the property – this example shows parks, grocery stores, health centers, restaurants, schools, and retail within 5.5 miles.

Nothing beats a drive around the neighborhood to get a feel for a house’s location, but the point of interest search on firstweber.com can give you a good idea of what’s closeby.  We hope you use it when you are searching for homes for sale in Wisconsin with firstweber.com! Let us know what you think.
