The First Weber Foundation Gives…
This weekend is the 2011 Bike For Honor Fundraiser spearheaded by Mike Spranger of First Weber Group in Wisconsin Rapids and supported by the First Weber Foundation through a $2500 sponsorship plus Group Giving funds. The Bike for Honor raises money for the “Never Forgotten Honor Flight” which sends veterans on a trip to Washington D.C. to view the memorials built in their honor.
Bikers choose from a 100 mile ride, a 50 mile ride or a Fun Ride. All proceeds benefit the “Never Forgotten Honor Flight”. Last year, Mike, the Foundation and ride participants raised over $10,000. The First Weber Foundation Receives…
Where does the money that funds the First Weber Foundation come from? The majority of it is donated by First Weber Group agents, employees and owners from commission checks and paychecks. However, this past month, First Weber Group held annual golf outings and sold Foundation Fun Day cards that offered participants the chance to win prizes in exchange for a $20 donation to the First Weber Foundation. Together, we raised over $3600 for the Foundation which will support many causes in Wisconsin. Over $69,000 has been donated by the First Weber Foundation so far during 2011.
