Wausau will host the Junior Canoe Slalom World Championship at Whitewater Park next July. The event is expected to bring almost $2 million dollars into the Wausau economy. Wausau’s bid for the games beat competing packages from Brazil and Slovakia. Impressive.
Wausau’s Whitewater Park is a world class resource in the heart of downtown for everyone to enjoy. Compete, volunteer or sit back and watch the competitions – maybe take a training camp or clinic.
