Here are the most recent reports  for the real estate market in the Southeastern/Southwestern Milwaukee County area.  Buyers are recognizing the values and opportunities!
 
 
51.1% increase
South Side – includes St. Francis, Cudahy, South Milwaukee and Oak Creek
 
There were 68 closed sales in August 2011 compared to 45 closed sales in 2010 – a 51.1% increase.
Median Sales price in August 2011 was $139,250, down 15.3% from August  2010  ($164,450).  
 
 
6.3% increase
The Southewest Area – includes Franklin, Greendale, Greenfield and Hales Corners
 
There were 68 closed sales in August 2011 compared to 64 closed sales  in 2010-  a  6.3% increase
The median sales price for August 2011 was  $186,500 down 3.7% from August 2010 ($193,750)
 
 
 90% increase
West Allis-West Milwaukee
 

There were 57 closed sales in August 2011 compared to 30 closed sales  in 2010-  a  90% increase
The median sales price for August 2011 was  $118,250 down only 1.4% from August 2010 ($119,900)
