If you are looking to buy real estate in the area and want to learn more, here’s a neighborhood snapshot of one area of Hales Corners: Forest Park Subdivision.

This gem of a subdivision is bordered by Potter’s Forest, Grange Ave, & 92nd street.  The majority of the 85 homes were built in the 50’s and a few of the remaining lots were developed in the past few years.  Forest Park is laid out on a figure-eight road that is exactly 1 mile in length which resident walkers, joggers, and bikers often utilize. Most residents were attracted by the feel of country living (no sidewalks and street lights) and the easy access to the I-System allowing for a 15 minute drive to Mitchell Field, Miller Park, Brookfield Square, or Mayfair Mall.  The yearly neighborhood block party is held during the month of July.  Some enjoy the short walk to the Boerner Botanical Gardens in Whitnall Park.  The Whitnall Park Golf Course is one of the county’s favorites. Other Park attractions are The Wehr Nature Center & the cross-country skiing trails in winter.
