First Weber raises over $33,000 for the United Way

A Culture  of Giving

Giving is a large part of the First Weber culture, as evidenced by the formation of the First Weber Foundation in 2005 which, since inception, has donated over $600,000 to a variety of Wisconsin charities.  First Weber has also always been a huge supporter of the United Way and participates in fundraising through special events across the state.  In 2011, the statewide First Weber United Way campaign raised over $33,000, an increase over last year’s campaign by 3%, which is amazing given the state of the economy.

Three cheers go out to all the First Weber  participants and event organizers for this hefty financial contribution to support the United Way in Wisconsin.

Just one of the fundraising events was a loose change jar competition between the First Weber sales offices which raised $556.87. First Weber Capitol office manager Jeff Kuhl shows off his office’s overflowing change jar below.  Just goes to show you that little things like loose change can make a difference.
