Study: the effect of homeownership on children

This is an interesting read.  Homeownership is typically a more “permanent” residence than renting an apartment is. That’s got to be a big factor in having a positive effect on children. Children need stability and structure which a more permanent residence can provide. Plus, what’s better than your own swingset in your own backyard?  🙂

 

Note, there is nothing wrong with renting and there are legitimate reasons to do so such as not being ready to settle down or having difficulty raising a downpayment. This article is being shared to make those considering buying a home feel more confident in their decision.
