Wisconsin real estate sales up 11% over last year’s first half, 3.1% June over June.

During the first half of 2013, Wisconsin real estate sales are up 11% over last year at this time.  In June alone, sales rose 3% over last June and this will be the 24th month of home sale improvement for Wisconsin.  Median prices are up in June as well: $159,500 – An impressive 12% above last June’s media sale price.

“The pace of sales in the first half of this year is well ahead of last year,” said Renny Diedrich, WRA Boad Chairman, “which is especially noteworthy since 2012 was an exceptional post-recessionyear for housing sales.”

Foreclosures also fell over 35% compared to this time last year. “All in all, this paints a very healthy picture of the Wisconsin residential home market at the midyear point,” Diedrich said.
