First Weber feeds many with annual Project Gratitude

December 12, 2013

From the Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County:

“It’s that time of year again; time to thrive on season greetings and to offer a helping hand. Offering helping hands is just one of the many things the Boys and Girls Club provides each year. However, the club can’t do it alone. The folks at First Weber Group lead a mission called Project Gratitude and the Boys & Girls Club is fortunate to be a beneficiary.

November is our busiest month, as we set out to help our neediest members and families. First Weber purchases and packs turkey baskets to feed 250 families in Washington County. One turkey basket contains a 12lb turkey, bag of potatoes, green beans, olives, cranberries, gravy, corn, buns, sweet potatoes, applesauce, and even a pumpkin pie.

First Weber also puts on an amazing Thanksgiving Dinner Club members and encourages their families to attend. All 350 in attendance were very thankful for a delicious meal and the warm company provided by the folks from First Weber and the staff at the Boys & Girls Club. Obviously, none of this would have been possible without the support of Project Gratitude and First Weber. They generously provide anything and everything a family could ask for on Thanksgiving!”

Thanks for having such a giving spirit, First Weber West Bend!  Here is an article on previous Project Gratitude events. And here for additional community service projects through the First Weber Foundation
