First Weber annual retreat silent auction: $4,000 raised for Ronald McDonald House

February 11, 2014

Thanks to all who bought raffle tickets, donated items for the First Weber Foundation Silent Auction or who shared their fundraising stories at the retreat luncheon.  A check for $4,000 from First Weber’s annual  Silent Auction will be sent to the Ronald McDonald Charities this year.  The raffle was a big success.  Congratulations to all of the winners!

Here’s what an agent who has experience working with the Ronald McDonald House had to say:

[Jere Hilton, West Towne]  “Since returning to First Weber I am excited to see how active the Foundation has become and especially glad that it is supporting Ronald McDonald House of Madison.

When living in Los Angeles years ago I volunteered as the weekend manager for the Ronald McDonald House near Children’s Hospital.  Seeing those little toddlers with their heads marked for the treatments and whole families able to stay nearby brought tears to my eyes each weekend.  These houses offer such comfort for these families.

Glad to be a part of First Weber again!”
