The Metro South office of First Weber Group recently held a Charity rummage sale in the front parking lot of their office for the benefit of The Word of Hope Family Ministries.
The Word of Hope offers a wide range of services to the community include assisting individuals in obtaining their GED, providing computer training, preparing folks for job interviews, helping folks coming out of incarceration reenter (or enter) the work force, support for substance abuse and providing free health assessment and screening.
The Metro South office – with MATCHING FUNDS from the First Weber Group Foundation presented to The Word of Hope Family Ministries a check for $1644 on July 24th. The Metro South office also runs an ongoing clothing drive collecting gently used business attire to give to the organization – so the individuals they are assisting will have appropriate business attire for job interviews and eventually for reporting to work!
