September’s real estate sales, throughout Wisconsin as a whole, were nearly identical to last year at that time. Some counties and regions performed better than others, but overall, a respectable month of sales. Dan Kruse, chairman of the WRA states “Sales this quarter may be 2.1% below a very strong third quarter last year, but they are 20.7% higher than they were just after the recession ended in the third quarter of 2009.” He goes on to say “To be only slightly lower than last year’s solid market suggests a relatively healthy market for housing in the state.”
