The First Weber Foundation Bike for Honor Flight fundraiser had another successful year!
Overall, we should come in with close to $20,000 raised which we will be able to donate to Never Forgotten Honor Flight. First Weber Foundation contributed $5000 sponsorship and $3500 in matching funds to the event, which is very much appreciated by everyone!
We thank all riders who braved the weather for this excellent cause! We had around 10 people on the family fun ride (6 miles), 28 people on the 50 mile ride and 50+ on the 20 mile ride Sunday August 23rd. We thank all sponsors who helped us raise a considerable sum to thank veterans for their service in this special way.
Never Forgotten Honor Flight sends veterans on a trip to visit the memorials erected in their honor. The money raised at the Bike for Honor event is donated to Never Forgotten Honor Flight to cover the veteran’s cost of making their “trip of a lifetime.” First Weber and the First Weber Foundation are very proud to support this organization as we have for the past 6 years.
