Metro Milwaukee area home sales in August are up 6.2% over last year at this time. 1933 homes were sold last month compared to 1821 last August. It is the seventh straight month of sales increases in the Metro Milwaukee area.

Overall, the market is functioning at a high level, but not overheating. Buyers are very active, some homes in ‘move in’ condition are receiving multiple offers, inventory is tight, and there is some upward price pressure.

996 Milwaukee County home sales this August compared to last August’s 945. A increase of 5.4%.
Waukesha County home sales
591 Waukesha County home sales this August compared to last August’s 562. An increase of 5.2%
Ozaukee County home sales
128 Ozaukee County home sales this August compared to last August’s 128. Stable.
Washington County home sales
218 Washington County home sales this August compared to last August’s 186. An increase of 17.2%
Racine County home sales
262 Racine County home sales this August compared to last August’s 188. An increase of 39.4%
