Rising Sales
Metro Milwaukee area home sales in September are up 13.1% over last year at this time. This marks the strongest September in 10 years! 1964 homes were sold last month compared to 1740 last September.
Rising Prices
Median sales price is up anywhere from 3-8% across metro Milwaukee counties. Home prices, while steadily gaining, are still below their peak in the bubble years, Milwaukee county off by almost 20%.
From GMAR release:
The 2015 market can be characterized as very soild, with buyers quickly absorbing available listings since the beginning of last year. GMAR expects the trend to continue through the rest of the year, ending perhaps 10% over 2014.

905 Milwaukee County home sales this September compared to last September’s 807. An increase of 12.1%.
Waukesha County home sales
553 Waukesha County home sales this September compared to last September’s 467. An increase of 18.4%
Ozaukee County home sales
117 Ozaukee County home sales this September compared to last September’s 110. An increase of 6.4%
Washington County home sales
163 Washington County home sales this September compared to last September’s 153. An increase of 6.5%
Racine County home sales
226 Racine County home sales this September compared to last September’s 203. An increase of11.3%
