Total of $5000 donated from the bake sale
It is no wonder why First Weber is “The Human Side of Real Estate”. On November 19th and 20th, the First Weber office in Stevens Point hosted their 2nd Annual Bake Sale to benefit the local Salvation Army Hope Center. Last year they donated $4,000 and had a goal this year to beat that amount. Through the community support of the bake sale and generous donations by the staff and Realtors, we raised $2,500 and with the matching funds provided by the First Weber Foundation, were able to present a $5,000 check to the Salvation Army on December 15th.
First Weber solicited donations from some local area restaurants such as Amber Grill, Grazies, Mikey’s in Plover, Silver Coach and the Rock ‘n Roll Cafe. We thank them so much for their participation and look forward to an even bigger event next year. Next year’s dates will be Nov.16th and 17th 2016 at the First Weber Office next to Franks Hardware on Hwy 10 East.

In addition to the bake sale, members of the Stevens Point office “rang the bell” for the Salvation Army from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. December 8th and collected almost $450 during that time.
