Wisconsin real estate sales start very strong in January.
- Home sales were up 10.4% over January 2015 with 3659 properties sold.
- Median home prices are up 10.1% compared with last January. Median sale price for a home in Wisconsin is now $148.700
“We will certainly see home sales pick up into the spring, which signals a strong real estate market for the first half of 2016 and hopefully beyond,” K.C. Mauer, WRA board chairman.
- Increased demand and rising prices have hurt home affordability a bit, but with interest rates remaining this low, there’s amazing opportunities to get into homeownership.
