First Weber Foundation donates $2000 to local COP (Community Oriented Policing) House

Residents of all ages in the Mount Pleasant Lakeside neighborhood will have additional opportunities for learning, job hunting and computer training thanks to a $2,000 donation from the First Weber Foundation.

John Crimmings and Julie Lang, of the First Weber Racine office, officially presented the $2000 check to MPPD Officer Prochaska. The money will be used to purchase four laptop computers and strengthen the internet connection in the Lakeside COP House where students can use the computers for homework and adults can conduct job searches and build their resumes.

The First Weber Foundation donates to eligible 501(c)3 organizations that benefit communities statewide.
