First Weber Brookfield agents & First Weber Foundation march for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, donate $7,000

August 31, 2017

About a dozen First Weber agents from the Brookfield office recently participated in a 5K walk to raise funds and awareness for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation with a team name of “Maggie’s Marchers.”  In total, the team consisted of around 60 marchers and overall, the Southeastern Wisconsin event had approximately 4,000 walkers.

Maggie was the 2017 JDRF Youth Ambassador and led the walk with her marchers following her as the first team in the walk!

Maggies Marchers raised $1,700 which The First Weber Foundation matched to become $3,400.

These matching funds are IN ADDITION TO the $3,500 event sponsorship the First Weber Foundation signed up for.

In total, $7,000 was raised by Maggie’s Marchers, exceeding the $5,000 goal shown on Maggie’s web page.

Doing good in our community shows the human side of real estate.  The funds raised for this great cause makes a huge difference in Maggie’s life and others like her.

Thanks to all who participated and thanks to The First Weber Foundation!
