First Weber agents & Foundation donate over $17,000 for Hurricane Harvey relief

October 5, 2017

Statewide, First Weber heard the call for help for the victims of Hurricane Harvey!

Totalling over $17,000, $7,207 was raised from First Weber agents around the state, $5,000 from agent Kelly Seaman and $5,000 from the First Weber Foundation.

Working together, we can accomplish so much.

“Many calls came in from our First Weber family asking if the First Weber Foundation would be having a fundraiser for the victims in Texas that lost their homes and so much more. There are still more donations coming in to be processed….. but $17,207 is a great contribution!” says Mary Grunow, Director of the First Weber Foundation.

Kelly Seaman, an agent from the First Weber North Shore office, contributed $5,000 herself.

“After experiencing my own fear from Hurricane Irma heading towards our home in SW Florida, I could not help but feel more compassion for those hit by Hurricane Harvey,” Seaman said. “I also was moved by the actions of JJ Watt and what he accomplished for Houston. As I read the First Weber Foundation challenge match, I was compelled to show my support for all who gave what they could. Hence, I am donating a personal check of $5000 to the cause. Thank you to all who stepped up!”

“Everyone, statewide sent donations to our foundation to be matched.  I am extremely proud of how First Weber realtors and employees all stepped up to make a difference!” said Kevin Donnell, CEO of First Weber, Inc.
