First Weber Foundation Blog

This is the 12th year of “Project Gratitude, a First Weber West Bend office project to provide the food necessary for families of the members of the Boys & Girls Club of Washington County to prepare a full Thanksgiving meal at home. Once again, the goal is to provide for 300 families at an approximate cost of $40.00 per family for groceries. Since the inception of “Project Gratitude” in 2006:

· 2032 baskets of food have been delivered to families.

· At approximately $40.00 per basket, we have spent over $81,000 for groceries.

· A basket feeds 5-6 people, totaling 10,160 to 12,192 plates of food.

· 15.2 tons of turkey was purchased to complete 2032 baskets.

We need your help to continue this very important project.

Donations must be received no later than November 10th, with checks made out to First Weber Foundation and mailed to Terri Fredrich at First Weber, 1720 Clarence Court, West Bend, WI 53095.

First Weber Foundation has agreed to match up to $3500.00 in donations!
