Wisconsin Real Estate Report – December 2019

Let’s take a look at how the Wisconsin housing market is shaking up! Compared to December of 2018, the number of home sales in December 2019 was 5,705, which was an increase of 14.8%. Statewide listings were down 11.9% to 22,145 while the median single-family home price rose 10.1% to $197,000. Houses were selling quicker this December compared to last December. On average, homes are on the market for 96 days, which is 6.8% less time than December of 2018.
