Wisconsin Real Estate Report – February 2021

Wisconsin homes continue to sell quickly in early 2021. The number of home sales in February 2021 was 4,395, which was an increase of 5.5% compared to February 2020. Statewide listings were down 38.3% to 15,575 while the median single-family home price rose 13.2% to $215,000. Houses sold quicker this February compared to last February. On average, homes are on the market for 95 days, which is 13.6% less time than February of 2020.

According to Mary Duff, WRA Board Chair, Wisconsin saw a record winter in terms of home sales for the second year in a row. Though, the market is hot in terms of home sales, we are still seeing low inventory throughout the state.
