Charlie Wills is a part of First Weber’s West Madison Office and has been named one of 10 finalists in the National Association of REALTOR’s 2024 Good Neighbor Awards. The awards are held annually to honor NAR members who make extraordinary differences in their communities through volunteer work by giving time, money, energy and expertise to uplift people.
Besides being a successful real estate team leader and REALTOR, Charlie co-founded a non-profit organization called 100 Men of Dane County. The members of 100 Men of Dane County pay $4,000 per year and then meet quarterly to vote on $100,000 grants for local non-profit agencies that focus on serving children, women and families in Dane County. Since 2018, the group has donated more than $2.3 Million in grants to organizations like Big Brothers and Big Sisters, The Playing Field, Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS), the Madison Reading Project, The Road Home, Second Harvest Food Bank of Southern Wisconsin and many more. At their annual convention in Boston this November, NAR will award 5 finalists $10,000 each and national media exposure for their charity and the remaining five finalists will receive honorable mention grants of $2,500 each for their charity.
In addition to these awards, NAR is holding a Web Choice Awards. Through October 2, you can vote for Charlie and 100 Men of Dane County online. The top vote-getter will be awarded an additional $2,500 for their charity, while 2nd and 3rd place vote-getters will receive $1,250 each.
