First Weber Foundation Supports 211 Wisconsin App

September 23, 2024

The First Weber Foundation, the giving arm of First Weber, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is a resource for agents and staff to use in support of qualifying non-profits in their community. The Foundation voted to fundraise $15,000 for a year’s worth of data usage fees for the 211 Wisconsin app so that it could remain free to download and use.

The 211 Wisconsin App was developed by United Way Dane County and combines the resources of eight 211 centers across the state. You can learn more about the release of the app here.

The App is designed to provide a comprehensive list of resources to people 24/7, covering everything from shelter and rent assistance to healthcare, mental healthcare, addiction support, food and any other community resources that may be available in a given area. The resources may be obtained anonymously, or you may create a profile on the app. All that is required to obtain the information is an internet or cellular data connection. The free app can be downloaded from your app store.
