October’s Wisconsin real estate sales rose significantly and median prices also continued to grow at a steady rate. Statewide, sales were up 9.6% over last October and median sales prices were up 4.2%. “This was a strong bounce in home sales in a month where sales activity is typically winding down as we approach winter,” said Dan Kruse, the chairman of the WRA board of directors. “In fact, it is the strongest October sales we have seen since 2005 when the WRA began using the current data collection system.”
