Milwaukee makes list of most improved housing markets

The Milwaukee-Waukesha-West Allis Metropolitain statistical area (MSA) was ranked as #10 in Bloomberg Businessweek Most Improved US Housing Market poll.  First quarter data supplied by CoreLogic was used to determine the rankings.  Factors taken into account were home prices, foreclosures, overall sales, distressed sales and unemployment.

Sales in Wisconsin and across the nation have been bouyed by tax credits in recent months.  Those transactions are filling the pipeline and need to close by the end of June.  It remains a buyer’s market and a favorable time to buy.  Interest rates are low, many choices are available at good prices.  Please search firstweber.com to begin your home search and view over 80,000 properties for sale across Wisconsin – listings from all participating brokers, not just First Weber’s. It is a comprehensive source for those seeking Wisconsin property for sale.

Milwaukee also made the news with a very favorable ranking for employment growth. Two pieces of good news for real estate in Milwaukee area, since jobs affect the buyer’s ability to purchase real estate.
