Dane County residential real estate median sale prices have been rising for the past several months. Home sales, though , are down. This was largely expected as the rush of home closings from the home buyer tax credit have closed, leaving a lull. 370 properties sold in July compared to 789 last year at this time. The July median sales price of $220,750 is one of the highest since July 2003. Source SCWMLS
