Groundbreaking was held on Monday, October 11 for the renovation and improvement of the Downtown Square in Wausau.  This community project has been moving forward thanks in part to a great community effort to raise almost one million dollars.  Many of the funds were from private individuals.  Wausau’s downtown square should be ready to go for its popular Concerts on the Square on Wednesday evenings during the summer of 2011.
