This past summer will long be remembered for the drought that affected much of the country as well as the record high temperatures. Perhaps this had some effect on land sales; but when studying the numbers for southwest Wisconsin, it doesn’t appear to have had much effect if any. Last quarter we saw both the number of sales and the price per acre of rural land inch upward.
