The Human Side of Real Estate: Leading the local chapter of CMTA

June 8, 2017

There’s a lot more to the people of First Weber than real estate! Our agents and employees get involved with causes that are important to them, to help out in the community – to help others. Our agents showing the Human side of real estate is evident in many First Weber Foundation stories.

Here’s another story to share:

Our Quality Assurance Manager, Debi Weber, is co-leader and founder of the Madison Chapter of CMTA, a support group for those with the neurological disorder Charcot-Marie-Tooth. This disorder affects 1 in 2500 people, yet is a relatively unknown ailment to the general public.  Debi started the local chapter to help others who suffer from CMT, to raise awareness and raise funds for research.

TV interview

Debi and her co-leader appeared in a news interview on Madison TV station WKOW where they discussed the disorder. You can watch that interview here.

CMTA Fundraiser this weekend

Debi and local chapter members arranged for a fundraiser  this weekend at the Mallards baseball game. When you attend the CMTA Night at the Duck Pond on Saturday, June 10 at 6:30 p.m., your $25 tickets includes a reserved seat, 90 minutes of all-you-can-eat ballpark food and a $5.00 donation to support the local CMTA chapter.
