Kathy Konichek, First Weber’s Human Resources Director, received the Greater Madison Area Society for Human Resources Management’s Volunteer of the Year award! This local chapter of GMA SHRM has 800 members and 100 volunteers.
Volunteers are the cornerstone of the local SHRM chapter and six volunteers are nominated for this award every year. These busy professionals dedicate their free time to making their organization a valuable resource.
In Kathy’s case, she attends meetings to secure programming events for the year.
Kathy has been in Human Resources for 30 years and has been an active member of the organization since 1991. She has volunteered in several capacities, most recently in the Programming Committee, and prior to that served on the Social Media Technology committee as well as being the Co-Chair of the HR Advice Network.
Above all that, Kathy is a pleasure to work with and a wonderful representative for First Weber.
